Grief is an important process we all must go through. Whether we lost the promotion, lost the relationship, or lost ourselves in some process, we must honor the sadness and the grief we feel from that lost. However, grief is one of those emotions that can linger and weigh us down if we don't have the tools to know when it's time to let go.
Whatever you are grieving, know when it's time to stop. Even if it's just for right now so you can take a tiny step forward.
Sit in silence, put your face in the sunshine, sit on the grass, ground and center, listen to your favorite music, watch inspiring Youtube videos, call a friend, eat delicious food, move your body. All of these activities will raise your vibration. Once you're in a better energetic space you can then look the future.
What are you going to commit to next? What's just around the corner? Our souls are meant to grow not stay stagnant or chained to the past. Thank the past for the lesson and recommit yourself today to a better version of yourself. A more authentic version of the person you ultimately want to be.
