Which herbs are best for this climate?
When is the best time to start seeds? What dirt do I use? How much do I water?
Windowsill? Container? Raised bed? Where is the best location for the herbs I want to grow?
We consume herbs nearly every day when we cook, drink tea, and perhaps even as medicine. Here’s a secret: with sunshine, water, dirt, and a little patience, it’s not that difficult to grow your own herbs.
If you have always wanted your own herb garden and didn’t know where to start, this class is for you.
You will learn how to grow your favorite herbs: basil, parsley, thyme, lemon balm, rosemary, and more. You’ll learn the fundamentals, such as which month to start your herb garden from seed, basic growing tips, and best practices for transplanting.
This class is for beginning gardeners. You’ll plant seeds of your choice and you will take with you a selection of herbs to welcome spring! Seeds, dirt, and pots will be provided. All you need to bring is your love for plants.
